I can't tell you how many times I've heard questions/comments that say something to this effect: "When are you getting a real job?"
As in, "Retail is not a real job. It's simple, a caveman could do it, they pay minimum wage, you don't wear a suit, etc. etc. ETCETERA..."
Thanks for your opinion, Snooty McSnootypants. For your information, a "real" job is any job that pays, esp if Uncle Sam takes a bite out of your paycheck. And though I usually try to avoid office jobs like the plague (the thought of sitting behind a desk for 8 hours a day in stuffy dress clothes, trying to stay awake and look busy makes me squirm) I am even looking for THOSE kind of jobs at this point.
The truth is, as much as I love being friendly to people who think they own me and straightening store displays for customers that repeatedly mess them up again, I'm actually kind of ready to move on. Don't get me wrong, I have had a long and healthy love of retail work, but I think the main things I liked about those jobs were my fellow employees and the discount. Is that bad? I guess it kind of is...

Sooooooo as you all know (I say "all" as if a lot of people are reading this, lol) I am going to Miami in a mere month :)
Thus, it was more than necessary to make sure I had a fabulous carry-on bag, because a.) I don't travel much and b.) it's flippin Miami.
And so. I introduce you to my beloved MJ tote which I just purchased off of ebay. It's not too big, not too small, and is the perfect shade of gray. Hooray for shmexy bags!
